Welcome to Emaho Foundation
The Sanskrit word emaho (pronounced ay-mah-ho) is an expression of joy and wonder, and an invocation for auspiciousness.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Emaho Foundation is a Tibetan Buddhist center serving the greater Phoenix area. It is dedicated to sharing Tibetan culture in the West, supporting humanitarian projects worldwide, and assisting with personal spiritual development. Founded in 2001 by ZaChoeje Rinpoche, Emaho offers teachings from Rinpoche and from its resident teacher, Geshe Jampa Khechok.

The practice of Yamantaka, which helps us overcome and transform the delusion of anger, belongs to the highest class of Yoga Tantra. Yamantaka, the Diamond Terrifier, is the wrathful enlightened form of Manjushri. Wrathful meditation practice is a powerful and skillful means to transform destructive habitual patterns. Yamantaka represents the insight that fully understands the changing character of all impermanent phenomena as well as their emptiness nature.
LOVE AND COMPASSION MEDITATION
Wednesday December 4, 7:00-8:00 pm
Join us in a meditation on love and compassion, which opens our minds and hearts unconditionally to limitless sentient beings.
Everybody is welcome to join this meditation. The Wednesday guided meditations are popular among spiritual practitioners of all traditions.
Thursday December 5, 7:00-8:00 pm
Vajrasattva is the embodiment of of all the Buddhas, appearing specifically to purify the negativity of all beings. The practice of meditation and recitation of the Vajrasattva mantra is a powerful method for purifying our minds and actions.
Saturday December 7, 4:30 - 9:00 pm
In honor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on December 11, 1989, please join your friends at Emaho for our annual celebration of Ahimsa.
Our volunteer appreciation night includes a performance by the children's group, followed by dinner and a movie.

Geshe Jampa continues teachings on Discovering Dharma 4.
Discovering Dharma 4 consists of a series of 8 classes of 1-1/2 hours each. This is a great opportunity to study in the traditional style, in a personal setting with a learned Geshe.
Discovering Dharma 4 is not a sequel to Discovering Dharma 1- 3. In this course all the topics are new and everyone is welcome.
