Welcome to Emaho Foundation
The Sanskrit word emaho (pronounced ay-mah-ho) is an expression of joy and wonder, and an invocation for auspiciousness.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Emaho Foundation is a Tibetan Buddhist center serving the greater Phoenix area. It is dedicated to sharing Tibetan culture in the West, supporting humanitarian projects worldwide, and assisting with personal spiritual development. Founded in 2001 by ZaChoeje Rinpoche, Emaho offers teachings from Rinpoche and from its resident teacher, Geshe Jampa Khechok.

Sunday June 23
vows 6:00-6:45 am
The eight Mahaya vows, or precepts, are taken for twenty-four hours, beginning at 6 am, usually on full and new moon days. Taking the vows helps us strongly maintain the bodhisattva practice in our lives, reinforcing our determination to become enlightened for the sake of all beings.
Geshe Jampa will offer the vows at 6 am to those who wish to participate in the full day of precepts.

Emaho is pleased to announce that ZaChoeje Rinpoche is offering a one-day White Manjushri retreat for Emaho kids and their families.
