Join us in person or via Zoom from 10:00AM to 4:00PM AZ Phoenix time for a one-day workshop with ZaChoeje Rinpoche on the stages of meditation.
During this workshop, Rinpoche will teach the in depth meaning of the Stages of Meditation. According to the Tibetan Yogic tradition, there are three stages of meditation: Zhugpa (Focus), Neypa (Sustain), and Thimpa (Absorb).
Our conceptual mind frequently fluctuates between attention and distraction.Thoughts pop in and out of our minds and we rarely perceive an object the way it is, always wrapping it in an additional layer of our memories and projections. By learning and understanding these stages of meditation, it will help one train the mind to focus and sustain the attention. Later on, we can use meditation to absorb the pure experience into our deep consciousness level.
